When you want something in life, you dedicate your self to working for it and that’s how it worked out for Thomas Dale’s Devonte Chandler and Talvis Robinson.
Robinson and Chandler both picked up offers in the past week.
Robinson, a 6-2 junior plays both sides of the ball and currently has three offers the other is from Marshall. Robinson on how he felt after receiving the offers,
“It felt unreal, I didn’t expect to be offered so soon and by some of the best academics in the country.”
Robinson also goes on to talk about his goals for this upcoming season
“My goal this season is to be a leader and set an example for the younger guys and just be an absolute machine.”
Talvis Robinson
Robinson season was both sides of the ball playing big on the offensive line as he helped teammate Chris Tyree to gain 716 rushing yards while picking up 11 tackles on the other side of the ball.
Devonte Chandler is also a junior who has had a breakout year this past season.

Chandler on how it felt to pick up the offer from Army “Felt unreal, been dreaming of the day i get my first offer since i was young and the fact it actually happened is a true blessing.”
Chandler also says one of his goals is to help the team win states this coming year “Win states, no better way to end my senior season than with a ring for my brothers and I. Do whatever it takes.”
Army and Navy are two Division 1 schools in the as Navy is in the AAC and Army is an independent school. Though in two different conferences, the two play every year and Army was the recent winners this past season although Navy leads the series.
For Chandler, it’s his first offer from any school he has one more year left to continue build upon his season from last year as he continues to improve. While Robinson picks up his second and third in consecutive days.
Both look to be the leaders on the Thomas Dale defense who played big this past season.
